Tuck is the oldest of our five cats. 18 years ago, we picked him up at a Pet Smart adoption weekend here in North Carolina. This painting is from his time as a kitten. He had such wirey fur we thought he might have been a longhaired cat. But true to form his tuxedo coat is shiny, soft and short. He has always been the cat with the easiest disposition, never a problem until dinner time when he thinks that our food is his food. And he has always had the loudest purrs.
